Why is it so hard to let go?

Scientists discovered that when we let go - when we forgive, release, or even exhale - our bodies respond. Cortisol levels drop, tension unwinds, and the heart finds its natural rhythm again. Letting go isn’t a loss. It’s liberation.

The ocean has no hands, yet it knows how to release. Every wave lets go of the shore, not in defeat, but in trust. Trusting that what it needs will return, and what it doesn’t will drift away.

Heavy things sink.
